Okmulgee Lake RegattaWell as President of the Okmulgee Hot Boat Association, I tried to avoid this as long as possible due to my typing skills! I would like to say hello to Jetter, BodeansHammer, we met on Okmulgee Lake, and Harkrider who bought my old boat. Okmulgee Lake is a spillway controlled lake, little or no debris, and constant water level. We are 35 min. south of Tulsa on Hwy 75, and 6 miles west of town on Hwy 56. They do prefer baffels. Our regatta will be Aug 8, 9, 10. Boat entry is $25 for Sat. only. The front of the lake will be blocked off just for us, and hot passes can be made one at a time, NO heads up racing. Will post more later, not sure all of this will fit!
